Ronee Cowen grew up in Queens, NY in Rego Park best known as the neighborhood next to Forest Hills. She moved during her high school years to Boca Raton, Florida. Ronee's mother was a successful realtor in Florida for over 15 years and while Ronee learned a lot from her mother the home buying process today is indeed more complex. Ronee attended Cornell University and earned a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Consumer Economics and Housing. Her analytical skills and understanding of consumer behavior gives her a unique perspective into negotiating, marketing and protecting her clients. Upon graduation, Ronee moved to NYC entering the fashion business as a merchandiser for Liz Claiborne quickly moving into sales to major department stores. After 10 years in the fashion business she began selling to doctors and patients for various medical device companies distributing diabetes supplies. She remained in sales until she left to be a stay at home mom for her two sons. In 2014, her family moved to Ridgefield, CT and purchased a classic colonial home. She fell in love with the charm of New England and the community of Ridgefield, CT. She knows the stress first hand of buying and selling a home and has vowed to make the process an easier and more enjoyable experience for both buyers and sellers alike. Her joy of sales, her ability to connect with anyone and understand her clients wants and needs combined with her honesty, design sense and responsiveness are all traits that make her an ideal realtor. Ronee Cowen has lived in NY, Florida, NJ and currently in the quintessential town of Ridgefield, CT. She and her husband also own a vacation property in Hunter, NY. She spends her time discovering something new in Fairfield County daily and continues supporting kids with pediatric cancer through her non-profit charity, Justin's Smile Childhood Cancer Foundation.
